Who are we?

One for the books podcast is the work of two pals and book lovers, Jacinta and Emma. 

By day, Jacinta works in marketing and communications in the sunny city of Adelaide, South Australia. She loves telling people’s stories, exploring worlds outside her own and discovering new writers, authors and influencers. Jacinta devours all types of books, but has a particular love for non-fiction, YA and a side of astrology. Outside of reading, Jacinta loves a gin, a strong flat white and like any true millennial, social media.

Emma fell into marketing and communications after uni, and has been there ever since. Also based in the beautiful city of Adelaide, South Australia, she’s been an avid reader since she can remember (this may or may not be why she wears glasses - sorry mum and dad for reading by torchlight under the bedcovers when I was supposed to be sleeping as a kid!). Emma does not discriminate when it comes to book genres and will literally read anything, but has a particular soft spot for contemporary fiction and Australian authors! When she’s not reading, Emma is embracing her true inner 80 year-old by baking and doing jigsaw puzzles, albeit with a beer or wine in hand and also falling down a TikTok black hole.
